The Christian Missionary Society founded in the year 1976 and got registered by the govt. In the year 1981 by Late Rt. Rev. Bishop Dr. R.T.S. Claudius, who was a true servant of GOD, well renowned Gospel Orator and Preacher in the entire world.
Late Rt. Rev. Bishop R.T.S Claudius knew around 11 languages and preached bible in many languages in India and abroad.
He was Alumni of Haggai Institute and very well known and good friend of Dr. John Haggai, the great servant of GOD.
His father was also a preacher and great servant of GOD. Late. Rev. John Christopher Claudius, who was the, then second lieutenant and well known as a great Gospel Orator during colonial period.
Late Rt. Rev. Bishop R.T.S Claudius fought for independence during his studies at Allahabad University and played an important role in freedom fight but he never took any awards for that as he was against that.
His elder brother was decorated Captain B.T. Claudius who was in Azad Hind Fouz (I.N.A) lead by Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose.
Late Rt. Rev. Bishop R.T.S Claudius completed his studies as a Medical Student and started to work as a Physician in his own dispensary in the year 1952.
Later on, he Studied with Sanyasi’s and Brahmachari’s and Muslim Preachers and Teachers in Sanskrit schools and Madarsa’ s respectively where he studied Vedas and various Sanskrit Literatures and The Quran, Hadis and various Islamic Literatures.
He spent a lot of time in Ashrams in Rishikesh, Varanasi (Then Banaras), and Calcutta.
Later on, he was chosen by the Lord Almighty for the Expansion of His kingdom and he started to work as a Christian evangelist.
He was ordained by Rt. Rev. Bishop Robinson Christopher, Bishop of Lucknow and Anglican Sadhu Amrendra Nath Sircar of Bengal, and Bishop Rajendra Dass, Palak Pramukh of Krishtapanthi Ashram of Varanasi.
He has written many books, started an editorial Evangelise India, many sermons, Letters on bible, which is still on record.
He established thousands of churches in India and ordained thousands of Pastors and Evangelists in his time and was very well known and loved Bishop in India.
He left for Heavenly abode on 17th July 2005.
